City on fire

This was about three hours. I like to call it 'The End is Nigh'...or 'near'...or whatever, just look at it.

Cityscape sketch 2

About an hour.

Pretty faces

Who doesn't love a pretty face?

More digital sketches

More digital sketches I did the other day. The top was about half an hour while the bottom was about twenty minutes. Just trying to keep the ol' drawing muscles as active as possible.

Forest

Damn I'm good at these creative names.

Tried out some new brushes from my 'Digital Painting Techniques: Volume 2" book. About two hours worth of work.

Fire Sketch

Quick sketch I did in preparation for an upcoming piece I've been brainstorming for a while.

Log

I'm really jamming on these creative names; it's how you can tell I'm a good artist.

About two hours of work and I have a new portfolio piece. To think this started out as a scribble.

Cityscape sketch

A quick sketch I did of a city landscape.

Smaug's Eye

This is a painting of Smaug's eye from the end of 'The Hobbit'. This was about two hours worth of work. It was fun to do plus good practice.

Smaug is property of New Line Cinema and The Tolkien Estate.

Creature sketch #11

Creature 11. This guy has been in my head for days and I finally painted him. Less than an hour.

Creature sketch #10

This guy was done in about three hours. For him I used a painting technique from a digital painting book I have; it was very similar to my usual technique with a few small differences.

Robot

I know it's kind of a cliche' to draw a robot but I was in a stereotypical mood this morning; so I took about two hours to sketch out this guy.

And yes, I still refer to them as Robots. I know the modern pretentious guidelines stipulate that I refer to them as mechs. Screw that, I call them robots.

Creature sketch #9

Creature number 9. This guy was a 'spur of the moment' inspiration. About two hours worth of work.

Torture

Creative name huh?

This is a piece I started six months ago then never finished; spent the last few hours buffing it up. I ignored a few illustrative composition rules when I roughed this out but hopefully it's still a fun erotic farce.

Kelly Shibari final illustration

I had to adjust the skin tone a bit before it came out right but here is the final result. This was a lot of fun to do and Miss Shibari loved how it came out.

Kelly Shibari roughs

Here are the two rough drawings of Kelly Shibari based off the two sketches she chose. We decided to incorporate a heart with the dragon so that her fans would recognize it as her tattoo coming to life.

Kelly Shibari sketches

These are preliminary sketches for a piece I illustrated for the beautiful Kelly Shibari, adult film star and executive of media and social relations for Fine Ass Marketing. Numbers 6 and 8 were her favorites so these I took ahead to the next stage.
